Escape!

There is nothing quite like it.

The ability to get away for a few brief moments, or better still for a weekend from your job, or for a few days from that project that may be draining you can be a life saver. You know what I'm talking about; we’ve all done it. That temporary escape that allows us to block out the unpleasant situation long enough for you to regain your strength to deal with it.


Just take a moment to feel the breeze and relax!

For a few moments you try to get away!

Close your eyes, take a deep breath and go to somewhere pleasant…

Many of our habits provide a means of escaping the stress of the day to day world. Those silly games you play on your favorite device or the earphones that link you to numerous “things” you have online access to. Even your favorite bar or early morning walk on the beach helps to relax your body and mind.


However, some of us find it a little more difficult to escape the daily stress. We may not enjoy the usual extracurricular activities like hanging out or jogging and might just not be able to focus on something different when a challenge strike.


What we may need is help!


There are many ways you can escape to refresh, heal or fix what is broken. Together we will share, explore and find our escape!



Listen to Music

Music can be a good way to immerse yourself in something relaxing. If you are willing to try this, join me. Select your favorite song and crank it up. If you are not alone, put on your headphones. Close your eyes and just listen. Feel it. If you can, get up and sway (or jump around) to the rhythm.



Read

Laugh

Go online and read some jokes or watch a comedy! Something really funny that will crack you up! Once you start laughing it will be difficult to feel stressed.



Get Out

Get dressed and go somewhere you like; the beach, the movies, the park. You can even hop on a bus or train and take a short trip to somewhere you have never been. Put on your favorite outfit or swimsuit and feel sexy. Then go to that place and enjoy it.



Have Sex

Sex has several stress management components. Firstly, it takes your mind off your problems for a while. Touching and massaging relaxes your muscles and helps to relieve tension. Sex is also contributes to aerobic exercise which has proven to aid in the reduction of stress and releases endorphins, oxytocin and serotonin. These hormones all contribute to a happy and positive mood.
